NEWS FLASH: Nei Gong syllabus extended to include Baquazhang module | Baquazhang module introduced to Nei Gong syllabus event in Atlanta in Fall 2020
Zom will be teaching Nei Gong Level 1 syllabus on May 23rd – 24th in Atlanta, Georgia with emphasis on Dao Yin and Sung. Nei Gong Level 1 is a rolling program of structured quarterly martial arts events to help practitioners:
- consolidate the lower Dan Tian
- improve Qi circulation through the body’s major channels
- purge energetic pathogens from the body
- understand the principles and application of “Ting” and “Sung”
Dao Yin is a process for opening tissues, stretching tendons, and purging energetic pathogens.
Sung is a process of releasing muscular tension, and attaches to a broader practice of pressurizing soft tissues with a view to “filling” and in turn strengthening tendons.
Our syllabus features a program of Qi Gong, Dao Yin, and Lower Dan Tian Gong which is delivered progressively depending on the ability of participating students.
Steve Galloway has been teaching Nei Gong and Yang Taijiquan in Canada, Europe, and USA since 2006 and until 2018 was a senior teacher for Lotus Nei Gong International overseeing programs in North Wales, Atlanta, and Ontario. The standardized syllabus is delivered to move students through the Nei Gong process safely and efficiently.

The Nei Gong process is a classical process and is, at times, very strong. For this reason we do not recommend that anybody with psychological disorders or those with serious medical issues/needs attend these events. There are many ‘medical’ Qi Gong schools that would be more appropriate for these kinds of needs.
Nei Gong is also unsuitable for pregnant women or anybody under 18 years old. Lastly we reserve the right to ask any student to leave the training immediately if we deem the training to be unsuitable for them, or a risk to their well-being.
