NEWS FLASH: Video teaching technology added to syllabus content from September… | Steve Galloway comes to Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Nov 16th – 17th…
Steve Galloway resumes his rolling event program of Nei Gong and Taijiquan on October 5th and 6th in East Lansing, Michigan. Material combines two disciplines to explore the fundamental skills of Ting and Sung. On Saturday (Sept 5th), Steve will build on previous work with Dao Yin, which targets at opening joints and stretching sinews. This art form develops physical flexibility and:
- consolidate the Lower Dan Tian
- improve Qi circulation through the body’s major channels
- purge energetic pathogens from the body
- develops “Ting” – an “internal” process for connecting to internal energy, its movement, and its regulation
On Sunday, (Sept 6th), Steve will turn attention to Yang Taijiquan, revisiting Ba Men and expanding on the physical and energetic foundation of this profound tradition.
- Structural alignment
- develop Sung – an “internal” process for releasing tension
- Tui Shou – testing the combined propositions of Sung and Ting

Classical processes including Taijquan and Nei Gong work can be emotionally and physically challenging. For this reason we do not recommend that anybody with psychological disorders or those with serious medical issues/needs attend these events. Instead, ‘medical’ Qi Gong schools would be more appropriate for these kinds of needs.
Nei Gong is also unsuitable for pregnant women or anybody under 18 years old. Lastly we reserve the right to ask any student to leave the training immediately if we deem the training to be unsuitable for them, or a risk to their well-being.
